Welcome Wednesday!

Last week we presented Amver awards in Rotterdam and offered a challenge to the award recipients to enroll the remainder of their fleets in Amver. While not reflective in the numbers this week, we are encouraged that more ships will enroll in Amver. We're issuing the same challenge to the rest of the world's fleet managers. Enroll your ships today. You are the key to ensuring no call for help goes unanswered. Here are the latest members of Amver.

Amver awards in Rotterdam

We were very excited to present Amver awards in Rotterdam for the first time in 37 years. Thirty one Dutch companies representing 165 ships received Amver awards in 2016. We were pleased to meet many of them at the ceremony held at the Europort event at Rotterdam Ahoy on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

We would like to extend our special thanks to the Rotterdam Ahoy taff and the Royal Netherlands Shipowners Association for helping us present the awards. We would also like to thank U.S. Coast Guard Captain David Barata, Commander, U.S. Coast Guard Activities Europe, for helping present the awards and sharing his appreciation to Dutch ships for their dedication to safety at sea.

We look forward to working with the KVNR at future events and presenting even more Amver awards in 2018.

Thank you and congratulations to everyone who participated.

Welcome Wednesday!

So, who joined Amver this week? Two more ships, that's who. Does two matter? You bet it does. Even one ship can mean the difference between life and death for a seafarer, yachtsman or migrant. You can make a difference in a maritime emergency as well. Join Amver today.
